Brand-new 50gal Oceanic tank/stand, drilled + Tunze magnets FS/FT

Hi all,

This tank needs to go. After the storm, there is just no way I'm willing to set up another tank, at least not for a few years. And this is an awesome tank, just sitting empty in the corner of the living room. We just bought a house and are hurting for cash and a new computer, so it's going one way or another.

It's a brand new Oceanic 50gal show/stand. Brand new as in -- never held water, still has the paper insert on the glass, brand spanking new. The only thing that's been done to it is the back glass has been drilled 3x for bulkheads.

Stand is super nice, black with smoked-glass centered door. Also brand new, bought as a set. Has glass top (no canopy) and regular NO florescent light strip, plus 3 bulkheads.

Tunze magnets are 250.55 model and very used. Still in great condition, just need cleaned and the pad replaced. Still strong enough to try to take my fingers off when I put them back together. Not interested in trading these off alone, would prefer they just go with the tank.

Paid $550 for the tank at C&S, somewhere around $100 for the drilling, and about $20 for the bulkheads. Magnets were about $120 new, long ago.

Asking $550 OBO for the whole lot. The only thing I'm interested in trading for is a good computer. Need a fast one with lots of HD, P3 at least, and a very good video card. Something we can run our work programs on...and we generally run 6-8 at a time (AS400 systems, imaging programs, Lotus notes uck).

Can email pics if interested. Please serious inquiries only to paintonherhands at yahoo.com Located in Springfield, no shipping but would consider meeting halfway if reasonable distance (and providing I can fit this puppy in my sedan). Cheers,

Jodie

Here are some pics of the tank, though they don't do it justice. Pardon the random miscellaneous items in there.

Forgot the dimensions:
tank: 30x18x21
stand: 30x18x32

And yes, the tank is on backwards in the pics. Just happened to end up that way in the move.

*bump*

Surely someone wants to lowball me an offer. We're hurting for cash so I'll consider just about anything.

???

Basically a powerhouse desktop. Doesn't have to be brand-name (my fav. computer of all time was hand-built by a friend). Just needs to have a very decent video card, a big HD, fast processor (prefer Intel but will consider certain AMD) and motherboard, etc. Definitely needs a CD burner (what doesn't have one these days, though). Needs to be able to work like a horse, but still be able to game on...and be dependable. Feel free to email paintonherhands at yahoo.com if you've got something in mind.
