bought a brand new sedra 5000 from marine depot havnt even opened the box yet decided just to buy a new skimmer rather sell it than send it back they want to hit me with a 20% restocking fee looking for $70

You should check to see if your credit card company has a "Return Protection Guarantee." Most AmEx have it, and Visa Signature have it. They cover different price tiers depending on what level you are of their card. I know my Blue for Students card will no questions asked let you return ANYTHING under $300 to them within 90 days. Check it out.
