Euroreef Protein skimmer RS180

Have looked through the archives…found nothing..I bought a brand new in box euroreef rs180 and promptly broke the pump…suggestions for a replacement? I love this skimmer and would like to just replace the pump…Sedra 5000? Any ideas are very appreciated!!!

Forgot I had a glass thermometer in the sump …the skimmer ate that….in the first hour of setup…yeah I cried

This is where it’s tough….it was LOUD…but sure worked…I actually kept it running after the pump ate a thermometer (no change in sound before to after) and it skimmed like crazy…then stopped all together

Hopefully not an oldschool one with mercury in it , or you have bigger problems...
