BRAND NEW to the hobby

I am brand new to this hobby and have been reading so much about it that I have gotten many different opinions and now want to know some of your expert opinions I am looking into getting a 100 gallon tank. As of right now I am leaning toward a reef aquarium but since I am new, am a little nervous. What would you reccomend for putting in a beginning fish only or beginning reef aquarium. I know it is a broad , SUCH a broad question, but I really appreciate the help!

1st determine your budget......Then double it.....then we can give ya some ideas...

I would set it up for a reef but start out with fish only until you get your husbandry practices down and a good understanding of water chemistry. Then start slowly with corals.

Read and ask away. As far as, introducing the first fish. I would suggest you compile a list (what you would like) and post it here. You wil get an expert and experienced opinion. Just a side note, the least aggressive fish on your list. Should be the first fish introduced. There are some great beginner coral. Hope i could help.
