I have found my barred goby!!!!!!!:eek1:
He has been MIA for 11 days, thought for sure the CBS got him.

He must've dived over the overflow, obviously not his first time, since his previous owner had to "fish" him out of the sump for me to bring home!!!

I looked in the overflow, I checked the sump, figured if he made it there, the spider crab got him. Anyways, today, I get home from work, and am shining the flashlight in my tank, sump, etc like always, and I cannot find the spider crab, so I look a little harder, as the middle section of my sump is the fuge, and I have chaeto suspended on a thin piece of plastic to keep it from being sucked into my return pump, and there's the goby!

I thought it was dead, so I get the net, and try to get him out, and he takes off! Good thing I had the little piece of plastic, or he'd been in the bottom with the killer crab!!!

I tossed him back in tank, and fed the fish tonight, and he acted like he hasn't eaten in days!!:rolleye1:

That's my good news of the evening! The CBS has a clean record!:D

Marie can you get me a good picture of the plastic in your fuge? This sounds like the solution I need for the sump I am making for my cube tank.

Sure Dubbin,
Give me a day or two, my dig camera is at my brothers, I'll have to repossess it!!

Boy, aren't we spoiled?

The best I can tell you is that Nathan Stieg built the overflow, and used a few small "blocks" of acrylic to hold my plastic shelf, one in each corner of the fuge area, about 3" from the bottom, the plastic is similar to the type of plastic they use to do needlework, very thin, could be cut with scissors, and has little tiny square holes in it. My overflow goes into the left side of the sump, and the baffle there is quite high, it overflows into the fuge, where I have placed the plastic shelf with chaeto on top of it. This also allows the water to flow over and under the chaeto. It is not real snug fitting, so the copeods can get through and into the return.

I will get the camera today, and get a pic tomorrow. I have to work tonight, so I will not be coming home til midnight...can you hold out that long?????:D
