They are very poor shippers and often arrive with clownfish disease (Brookynella (sp?)). They also tend to be easily frightened and jump out of uncovered tanks. They are very large clowns at breeding size, and need a large tank to feel comfortable. A 4' tank is usually recommended. Their babies are considerably more difficult to raise than other clowns because they are born so small.
Only a handful of people have had any success getting them to spawn, even fewer have been able to raise the babies.
Lastly, even though a lot of clownfish books refer to them as "orange fin" clowns, that name is very seldom used in the hobby. (At least here on the West Coast) They are usually called "blue stripe" clowns or are refered to by their species name, chrysopterus, chrys for short.
