breeder/propagation tanks for sale

West central Minnesota.
I have seven 44 gal. breeder tanks available for anyone thinking of setting up a propagation system or active breeders out there.
all are drilled, some already pvc'd ( from previous propogation system I had)
I will sell only the bulk of the tanks (no less than 3 at a time, please) to the first ones willing to pick up.
I have back problems so would prefer not to deliver unless close.

( Yes, these are shallow, long's, custom for the task!)

Any one buying more than 5 will have there pick in this order
of "freebies"
:eek1: Live sand from former 25 gal. seahorse (farm-raised) tank

:eek1: pick from "boneyard" of usable supplies from propagation system.

I am a (former?) long time member of this forum returning with renewed interest in Hobby but not into propogation anymore.

Make an offer for the whole shooting match
I will not consider anything less than the minimum of $1 dollar per gallon. You do the math. Love the site and I will contribute when appropriate.

Can you post pictures & dimensions, thanks

Yes. What kind of shape are they in, scratches?

I think I have pictures when they were set up as prop tanks. All are in good to excelent condition. minimal if any crazing, may or may not need cleaning.
* Again these are meant (Ideally) for breeding and or propagation tanks. the footprint of stacking 3 tanks for example is less than 6 feet high x 48 inch long. they are "shallow" tanks 18 water column maximum for efficient lighting. I would not use them as "show" tank, however.

No, I do not have any for sale less than 48 inches.

I think I am confusing people on these tanks.

They are perfectly "normal" used tanks. they can be used for what ever you want. They are IDEAL as breeder and or propagation tanks due to how shallow they are. You need less water, less Lighting (for Frag growth etc...) You "stack" them over each other for a minimal footprint and flow one tank into the other.
That is why I am offering to sell them in trio, as they are perfect for propagation systems. I have not been on the site in a long time but the geo-thermal coral site in Idaho used to have a great DIY Propagation setup tutorial on there web. Anyone remember the site?

How much are you asking per tank? Some of our club members want to set up a combined tank/s at one persons house to save on costs and work. You can pm me with the price.

Nope not confused. Just looking for a decent looking tank for a "project", not a show tank. All i need is one.

Josh,

I need on too for the club frag tank, maybe two. We should get together on this and make a bulk purchase, save both of us some gas and time.

Sounds good to me ;)

Well I have another person that wants one of these tanks so we are able to meet you minimum purchase requirements. But we need some pictures first of the tanks.
