Breeding Berghia Nudis

I got a couple of berghias today and decided to try to breed 3 of them. I scooped up a 2.5g pico tank and heater. I intend on throwing a air bubbler in there and already have a bunch of Aiptasia picked off to add. Anyone ever have success breeding the little buggers personally? I'm wondering about how to keep the Aiptasia population growing within the tank without dirtying up the water quality

Yeah, I read that article already. I don't like the idea of having multiple setups. I don't see it being hard to top off the tank by hand everyday. It should only be a few ounces of rodi. My only concern is keeping enough Aiptasia on hand to feed. The ones in my DT get mangled when I try and remove them. I have about 7-8 good ones in the 2.5g now. I don't know how fast they'll be consumed.

The other question I haven't found any info on is, when the nudi eggs hatch, what do they feed off of? From what I've read, they can't eat Aiptasia until they get bigger.

Small aptasia. That's why you need such a large supply of aptasia.
