Breeding clowns

What kind? It is, in my opinion, better to buy from a breeder than to buy online. Do you want documented and proven spawn pairs or just bonded?

There are many sites that deal with only breeding related issues and people sell pairs quite often.

I recently purchased a proven set of Melanopus from Inland for a reasonable price.

Jujst looking for commons right now till I get the hang of it. would rather get spawning pairs

FWIW, there is no guarantee that a "spawning pair" will breed for you in your tank. When you move a pair they will almost always take a break. Sometimes that break only lasts a month, sometimes years, sometimes they never start again.

If you buy a large ocellaris and a small one and give them the proper conditions, they will likely be breeding within the year and the cost will be around $20 vs. $100 or more for a spawning pair.

Just a thought.
