breeding mollies in sw

i have 8 mollies 2 males and 6 females. can i keep all of them in a 29 gal tank with 30lbs of live sand and 30lbs of lr.

Why would you want to? My guess is that the bioload would be much too heavy for a 29 gallon tank. When I started out in saltwater I had a 29 gallon tank and kept three fish in it. Eight would be way too much. Are these fish currently in fresh water? I realize that Mollies can be kept in saltwater if they are acclimated correctly, but with the cost of salt, etc., I don't understand the reason you would want to put them in salt. If I'm missing something here, please explain.

That should work out fine, mollies acclimatize very easily. That is a very minute bioload.

thayre all in full sw right now and have been for a month. i have 5 in the 29 and 3 in a 20 but i want them all in the same tank. im going to use the babies as live feeders.
