breeding question

I wanted to start breeding another pair of clowns and had a question. If I have a 55 gallon, with a divider in the middle, and a pair of clowns on each side, will this have any negative effect on the clowns breeding. The divider is made of a net material, and the two pairs will be able to see each other. Thank you!

Yes it most likely will. If they can see each other chances are the females will try and fight. This will make them feel uneasy. Also a small net will not be much of a barrier, they will probably go right through it.
