Breeding

clownfish are easy to breed, its raising the babies that are hard. they only eat photo-plankton when they are young

I have both. The clowns are always laying, the eggs develop, but since they are on the rock that can't be removed, I have never tried to raise them. Plus as stated it's a lot of work. But if you're set up for it, I would think it might not be that bad.
I also have Banggai breeding, the last brood was their first, lucky I was tank side when the male decided to release. 6 babies came out, I was able to rescue 4 (2 went over the overflow). I lost 2 the first few days, 2 are left, eating flake and frozen foods, and as of today are 3 weeks old. The male is carrying eggs again.
I'm raising them in this. https://premiumaquatics.com/products/finnex-external-hangon-refugium-breeder-water-pump.html
Figured it would be the easiest as I wouldn't need a separate set up. Plus since it's using the same tank water, I don't have to worry maintaining parameters.
I'll post a pic later.
