Please help me identify this worm, fairly fast moving; kinda looks like a common bristle worm but only bright yellow. Also is it a pest or a keeper?

Yup, questions about critters get much faster responses if they're put in the right forum.

Your worm is a polychaete in the family Phyllodocidae, maybe genus Phyllodoce. They are micro-predators feeding on small worms, crustaceans, and other tiny creatures. harmless to corals and fish.

Thank you LeslieH, how big do these worms get? It's about 5-6" long right now. Do I need to be concerned with it decimating my micro star, 'pod and mysis shrimp populations?
