Brightening up yumas

I notice that sometimes you will see yumas and ricordia in the stores that look like they have lost alot of color. What is the best ways to restore and get the most color out of your yumas and rics? I have some yumas that when I got them they were pretty dull but now seems to coloring up, I have about morphing and such. Wonder what causes it?

In my experience and from what I"ve been told the stress from shipping will cause them to discolor to that brown yucky color. Under good lighting and water conditions its ind of like a surprise to see what yours turns into - and yet some i've seen stay brown =\

these look green with orange mouths, maybe some purple and white. I just hope they get brighter.
