Bring it Back from the DEAD..Please. Maybe?? LOL

Okay so about a week ago UPS decided to not deliver my package as it should have been- in fact they waited till the next day at night. Long story short everything was dead. Last night I was feeding my corals and had not yet chucked the 'dead' corals off the frag rack. While I was running over the tank with my UV flashlight i saw this. I have it posted here if you could take a look and let me know your thoughts. In regular light the coral is all white but at night you can see the hues of purple on the tips. Any Thoughts? Am i going to get it back, why does this happen, any good books I can read on corals?? I have the basic book by Borneman.

Looks like tissue is gone on it if you ask me but the picture is pretty grainy. If it looks opaquely white and you don't see tissue I would just toss it.

sorry it is so grainy. The tips are now showing purple, i thought that 'might' be a sign of zoo being produced. My understanding in brief readings is when a coral dies it expels all its zoo and skin
. So i guess I am wishful thinking. Thanks for the advice.

Ups sucks. I'm waiting on a delayed box as we speak that most likely will show up with 7 dead fish in it. Every shipment I have had from them in the last month (7) has been late.

Sorry to hear that Softhammer. That really sucks. I am now getting in the habit of requesting to the shipper that they use FEdEx as I have serious delay issues. UPS needs to get their act together. Good luck.

it could come back! if you want to come by send me a message im near short pump mall and have bigger frags
