Anyone have a bristle star munch on their gorgonia? Seems like the thing is all wrapped around the branches of my gorgonia and chowing down... or is the gorgonia just shrinking from it's touch. I just don't know. yet.
A number of brittles live wrapped around gorgonians. Some of them feed on the mucus produced by the polyps while others use the gorgonians as a perch while they feed on particulates.
