"¦or at least what I think is them spawning:

Bristle worm video

They did this once before under similar circumstances during a water change and messing with the lights. I saw one do this and grabbed my iPhone4 to record another one which looked like he was about to do the same. I seem to overfeed a little and have too many of the creatures in the tank but they seem to do a good job eating all the detritus so I would guess they are a net plus.

Last night I ran into the same thing. About 6-8 different worms were spawning, from all different parts of my tank, some of them more then once. The entire event lasted about a half hour, tank was super cloudy, but all my corals loved it. I tried taking a picture but they were too fast. So I took a video. The quality is horrible but about a minute into the video I was able to capture one of them.

Wow, beautiful tank. The only reason I got a good video of one of them is that this had happened before so as soon as I saw one I grabbed my iPhone to record what was sure to be more of them doing it. They are strange little buggers and I have a feeling I should try to capture some of them because I think I have a bit of an overpopulation of them even though I consider them to be generally beneficial.

I have to agree. I usually let them thrive in my tank, but once in a while if I see a really big one I'll try to remove it.
