Bristles irritating zoas?

Hello,

I have 3 frags of zoas that are closed up. I have seen all 3 of the frags being bothered by bristle worms. Can bristle worms eat or irritate zoas? One polyp of a zoa frag is a lighter, washed out color than the rest on the same closed polyp frag. The whole polyp is a lighter color closed up, I don't mean the face because it's been completely closed for a couple of days. That one polyp was the first to close up, now the rest don't open fully or just stay closed up all together.

All my parameters are 0, salinity is 1.025 and ph is 8.2. The rest of the tank is happy. Any information will be much appreciated, thanks!

Cheers,

bristleworms in your polyps are just cleaning what you dont want there in the first place. I.E dead tissue and or detritus. They are helping, and not causing any problems

I have an infestation of bristleworms and they don't harm the polyps, if anything they host them and take some extra food for themselves during target feeding.
