Here is a link to a drawing of a bristle worm trap that I made and removed hundreds of "LARGE" bristleworms from my tank. It's easy to use and make. It incorporates a siphon system that allows you to remove the worms from the trap without removing the trap or the bait.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask I have a good amount of experience with the traps so I should be able to answer any questions you may have.
I had the Hawian Fireworm and some over 12". I had the most success while using dried krill for bait.
The trap is made of 3/4" CPVC but PVC would be fine traps made out of 1/2" also did well and caught just as many large worms as the larger traps. The traps were NOT glued together. This allows you to properly remove any bristleworms that may get stuck and to clean the trap.
