Brittle star with clams?

Does anyone have experience with this combination? I've read that serpentine stars would sometimes harm clams but that brittle stars were ok with them. Is this true?

I have had several brittle stars in with differen small clams and a large 10" squamosa in several different tanks and there were no problems.

i have a big serpent star in a tank with 8 clams never bothers them that i know of.
