Brittle star with crocea

Would a brittle star injure my 3" ultra crocea? Ive been thinking of getting a star but not if i would have to get rid of my clam.

there are some stars that feed on clams.you would need to find out exactly what type of star it is.

the one i am looking to get is a red banded brittle star, not sure of the scientific name.

I posted the same question about 2 months ago same exact situation, I got a red brittle star, so far there is no problem, and i don't think i will have to worry, a few others listed that there clams were fine also with brittles and serpents
