Brittle stars possibly?

I notice a couple tentacles coming out of the rock near the base of my new frogspawn. After looking around the tank I'm seeing these waving arms all over. Are these brittle stars?

FWIW the frogspawn is sucked in cause the light were almost out... its been very fat and floppy since I introduced it to its new home.

yes.. mini brittles.. excellent in the tank..
I have the red/tanish variety too.. I like them.. I want to hug them and squeeze them and call them George

I'm glad to hear this... the more I look the more I'm finding them. From brown and diameter like a golf ball to silver and small like a dime. What are these guys good for? I mean what is their contribution to my CUC?

Thank you.... I find myself hunting down the little life forms that just appear more than looking at my display itself. It's fun and exciting to find new things and learn about them.
