I have a large brittlestar who makes his home under a rock. It is about a foot across at my best guess as I have recently moved my tank and had to move it. I have a lot of little ones growing as well all over my tank, which are cool and probably offspring.

My question is do brittlestars like to munch on snails, hermit crabs and other inverts? I want to restock my snails, but I really don't want to provide an expensive meal for it.

It's rare but it does happen. I had a hermit get sucked up by a serpent once because he was eating a piece of the serpent stars food. Oh well, some should just learn to let go.
