Broodstock Diet

My spawning Black & White Ocellaris are fed the following diet:

Cyclop-eeze
Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 flake
Frozen Adult Brine w/Selcon
Ocean Nutrition Prime reef flake
Golden Pearls

I feed them these items in small amounts, one at-a-time, throughout the day,, starting with cyclop-eeze at noon and ending with golden pearls at midnight-ish (the tank is in my home office).

They seem happy and healthy,,,but I've noticed you all seem to feed more frozen food,,,,, apart from the adult brine w/Selcon,,,, mine won't touch anything frozen (I've tried 'em all),, and they positively run from formula 2 Cubes,,yet they eat the formula 2 flake.

Anything obviously missing from their diet?

And another thing,, why is Selcon so bloody expensive? Is there a cheaper alternative?

You seem to have a good variety there, much more variety in fact than I feed my spawning pair.. I've never been fond of flake food, as it can increase your chances of an algea bloom..

My pair actually eat dainichii pellets, spectrum thera+ pellets, and 2-3x a week they get a treat of some frozen mysis (PE or Hikari, prefer the PE, but its not always locally available)..
