Brook Fallow Time?

What is the fallow time to rid of brook? I've read anywhere from 6 weeks up to 12. Not sure which is correct.

6 weeks is my understanding for Brook. Here is a thread that lists fallow time for all the common diseases.

Great! But is their any science behind the 6 week number? My tank has been fallow 10 weeks now. If 6 is sufficient, I'll put the royal gramma in right now!!! Thanks!

I went 8 weeks fallow for brook and had no problems. I'd put that gramma in
