Brook ?

I just lost a Chevron tank and two clown fish to what i belive was brook, the only fish left in the tank is a long nose hawk.
Do I have to wait to add more fish, is this like ich where it will stay in the tank without a host for a certain period.

Assuming that your fish did actually die from Brook, you will need to wait to add more fish. The Brook is likely still in your water now and may be on the hawk, even if he is not showing signs of it. Start by doing several water changes over the next 4-5 days and give your hawk a formalin bath and put it in a small QT tank until completed with your water change(s) in the display. Good Luck.
