I thought I had a cyanobacteria bloom, so I treated with Chemiclean. That worked well on the red stuff, but I have a brown almost filametous type alge (or something growing on the substrate, on my gorgonions and rock. I've done (3) 20% water changes over the past 3 weekends and it hasnt helped. Just keeps coming back. It appears to be light related as its not in the "caves". Is this a diatom bloom? Any ideas on how to treat? PH=8.0, salinity = 1.024, temp 76-79, calcium 375 ish. HELP PLEASE!!
