Brown Algae in New Tank

Just want to make sure that this isn't going to turn into a big problem the tank has been running for 4 months. Running just a protein skimmer and an 9 hour light cycle. Have been putting off getting some macro algae and my clean up crew is lacking as well. Basically I hear that algae in new tanks is normal but then you hear about all these trouble algae that people tear down their tanks down for, so I just want to make sure I'm treating this appropriately.

Looks like cyanobacteria (a bacteria not an algae).. typically a maroon color..
Use chemiclean or red slime remover per directions..

Or 3 day lights out/siphon/increasing flow (non-chemical solutions)..

But the chemical solutions are just fine and work great..

Not sure what the bottom picture is showing.. weird angle.. not cyano though..

In general there is "diatoms" which is a brownish "dust" of sorts that can grow into show strands if left for a while..
Then green film, hair and bubble algae..
Then cyanobacteria..
Then dinos

All but the last are very common in a new tank as its maturing and will pass provided you keep nitrates/phosphates low

No one really needs to tear down a tank.. It may just be easier though..
dinoflagelletes can be the "rough" one to tackle but I think thats much easier now too.. Some "chemical" for that has shown up/been re exposed lately.. I forget the name..
