Brown Algae

Can someone help me identify what this brown algae may be. And maybe a way to get rid of it? It's been getting worse over the course of a few weeks.

Is this a new tank? Looks kinda like cyano. Can you post pics under a white light?

The lighting makes it tricky, but that looks like diatoms to me. A fighting conch, ctenochaetus tang, or a dwarf angelfish could help.

I forgot to answer too, yes it's a relatively new tank 6 months or so. I only have one chromis in at the moment.
