brown alge?

i just started my tank about a week ago and i have bron alge building up on my return, overflow,and rock is that normal?

Totally Normal. It will go away on it's own assuming your water meets params. Just part of the cycle. You can remove it from rocks if you like with a soft toothbrush. You can also add a clean up crew to assist you. Turbo's rock!!
