Brown Button Polyps turning white

I recently had my colony of Brown Buttons turn white. Some are out and most are closed. I noticed my salinaty was way high at 1.30, it's now down to 1.25. Will these guys come back?

I'm sure he meant 1.03 and 1.025, otherwise his entire tank would be dead.

I'd imagine that your button polyps will be ok, but no guarantees of course. My salinity has been up into the 1.03-'s before with little harm done to the tank. Button polyps and zoanthids IME are extremely hardy, and since you're dealing with button polyps I'd advise feeding them mysis or enriched brine to hold them over until they regain the ability to support themselves.

one of my pumps in my tank went out during the holidays and I didnt notice it and it ran and ran for about 3 days and heated my water temp to 90 degrees. everything died leathers disintegrated mushrooms melted but my zoos were the only thing that made it. so now im doing an all zoo tank. these thing are so hardy. in their natural habitat they may be out of the water for hours on low tide. they'll be fine

I have never had white but I had a near total crash with a power failure that I was not prepared for long ago. One of the few to make it back to full recovery were my zoanthids and palys
I would cross the fingers but I think you should be ok

have you found any other parameters out of balance (curious thats all)
