brown diatoms

Hi. My tank is a recently set up 120 liter with live and ceramic rock and this weekend I have added a pair of common clown fish.
It looks like I have just reached the brown diatom stage and I am looking for advice on how to get rid of it before it becomes too unsightly.
What would be the best choice of invert or snail to deal with brown diatoms? I had it with my freshwater tank and added nerite snails and a few ottos and that did the trick there but what would be a good solution in a saltwater tank?
FYI my water is made from RO and the live rock put in for seeding was fully cured.
I have only been running the lights for the last few days (since adding the clown fish).

Just vacuum it off weekly with your water changes and wait, it will go away on its own. It's all a part of the net tank "ugglies" that all new tanks go through. Trust me there's more to come... Lots more!

By not running your lights to help prevent the diatoms or trying to keep them down, you're only delaying them and keeping them around longer than if you just start running your lights on a normal schedule. They really don't stay long at most about two weeks usually
