I know getting this type of algee is all apart of a new tank but should I just let it run its coarse or should I get some snail or fish that will eat the stuff in order to get ride of it. It's not to bad right now but I don't want it to get out of hand.

I removed mine manually then did lights out for three days and did one water change a day for my nano 12g. Got nitrate and phosphate in control and seems to be fine now. Planning on adding more snails and the such to keep it at bay just incase. As for my main I use gfo and macro algae, I've never even seen any as of yet.

+1 you should pull as much as you can out.
If it dies and rots in the tank, or gets eaten and pooped back out, those nutrients are just cycling around your tank. If you pull it out you break the cycle. Eventually the fertilizer will run out (assuming you are using pure water).
