off color but with polup extension def sounds like lights.

I woudl either give it some time (a few months) nd see if it colors back up

or

move it a tad lower in the tank

or

go with a higher K bulb

again i agree.....
montipora could live in the back of my toilet with proper lights...water quality is not the issue.
i have purple cap that i bought 6 years ago when i had a 40 gallon tank. it was est for about 6 months and was fine.

Agreed that water quality is not the issue. I am surprised no one has mentioned this yet but you said that it has been in every position in the tank! Keep it still in one spot for a month or two, it should then color up. Only bad things happen fast in this hobby.

Thanks for all the info guys, it has only acutally moved 3 times, but I had planed to leave it where it is for a while. Just to see what happens, but now I am for sure. Thanks again. I will update in a while to see what happens.
