brown jelly disease

Good morning everyone! After a couple days of seeing 2 of the heads on my frogspawn struggle, it looks like they have got brown jelly disease. The heads are completely covered in it. One head remains healthy. I don't have a dremel. Can I just break the healthy head off about 2 inches down from the polyp? I posted a picture

Looks more like cyano than brown jelly from here..

But yes.. snap it off if you want..
