Browning Montipora - tank barometer?

Two of my monti's, green cap and elkhorn have been turning brown over the past few months. Recent changes I've worked on my high phosphates from .9 down to .06 Hanna meter. I was running three bags of Chemi Pure Elite for several years and I just recently switched to BRS reactor with GFO. The browning was before the addition of the new reactor that's why I decided to switch because of the browning and high phosphates. I have a dozen other acro's and milli's growing and very colorful. I also have three other monti's that are very colorful with no browning. So I don't know if it's just these two or what. I just switched out two 8 month old 12k bulbs which one actually burned out, so could that have caused the browning a dying bulb?

Yes the bulb could definently cause the browning now just be careful not to bleach with the new bulb

Thks for the response yep the new bulbs are set at three hours a day increasing an additional hour every week up to 6 hours max. I guess I'll see if the new bulbs make a difference over the next couple of months.
