Brownish Polyps on Milles & Prostrata

I see pictures of everyones Milles & Prostratas and they seem to have very good color throughout the entire acro.

Mine seem to have great PE but it makes it look brownish and was wondering if there is something I am missing. My digitata seems to have this same issue. I have only had halides for a few months, is it that I just haven't given enough time to fully color up?

Nitrates: undetectable using Seachem test kit
Calcium: currently 400 (usually 375 to 425)
Alk: currently 3.0 (usually 2.5 to 3.5)

Here are a few pics for example:
Note: These are top down shots and they look more brown from the front because of the PE.

i have a nobillis stag frag that had this problem in my aunts tank, which was lit by a single 175 w iwasaki 15k halide - bright green / teal base, brown polyps that completely covered it. I moved it to my tank with dual 10k 250w SE XM's, and like magic the polyps turned the same color as the base.

Thanks for the input!

I plan on dropping my lights down an inch or two to increase the intensity on them to see if that helps. Currently, I have my ROIII's about 8" from the glass shield to the water.

I'm having the exact same problem with the blue milli in my 18g nano. I have a ROIII 150w DE w/ Phoenix 14k about 8 inches from the water to get a good spread. Is this browning a light problem? If so, does anyone have any recommendations on what I can do?
