I don't think he played terribly bad, for a quarterback coach. Actually, considering he was throwing to 3rd string receivers, it was better than I expected. He did get burnt trying to force things. However, there were a lotta dropped balls that should have been catches.
After the rain delay our second string O scored on their 1st string D. That looks good concidering it is a long season and the injury bug is always out there. Good to have a solid second string to fill in when needed. That said, If we cannot shore up the secondary, it will be a long season.
First string vs first string, browns clearly better both sides of the ball, second string o vs thier first string d, browns better. Second stringers vs second stringers both offenses better than the ds.
Browns have no depth at secondary, 2 starting qbs(good) then a 5th string qb playing 3rd string.
