BRS buys MD

I'm ok with it as long as it does not change pricing to be more and makes shipping to west coast faster. And as long as BRS keeps up the same quality service but just adds more product lines and a closer warehouse. In all honesty I never bought from MD, I always went with BRS and Aquacave if not finding it local.

Yep, my biggest issue with BRS is shipping time. I've often purchased from MD because shipping was so much faster.
I watched the BRS team announcement and it seem like they might be closing down MD so there won't be west coast shipping. Hope I'm wrong.

What John said. Ground shipping from MD was usually an overnight or two day experience because of geography. IME, BRS ground shipped items take longer, like 5 days.
"From whom I purchased" often came down to who had my item(s) in stock and urgency of need.
That said accumulating reward points is easier at just one vendor.
Has anyone noticed any changes in service since this announcement? Orders shipping later or taking longer?
