Brs gfo reactor help

I forgot how to take it apart so I can change out my gfo media. I can't just use the circular handle and unscrew it because the reactor is screwed into my stand and when I tried that the torque/force that I used would rip it out of the wood.

It has 2 black clips that I removed next to where the black hose enters the reactor. One clip for each hose. I thought the last time I did it that I just pulled the hose out on each side after I removed both clips. It didn't work this time so now I'm not sure how to get the cannister open.

I'm working in a confined space. So if you have any tips please let me know.

It just twists off like an r/o unit

I wish mine was that easy. I have to take the hoses out from both ends and than I can put it on the floor and use the wrench to twist it off.

I used to be able to just twist it open but not anymore.

Now I can't get the hoses off.

you have to push the hose fittings towards the elbow and hold them there while pulling out the hoses if you want to remove them. Google "push fit" hose to find better instruction. Next time dont screw the canister on as tight, only hand tighten enough to not leak.

Awesome Thank You I think that's how I got them apart last time, but this time I couldn't figure it out even with google. And your right about hand twisting! I'm gonna throw those dam wrenches out, they're nothing but trouble
