that was DI resin I think. The Hanna ALK Checker is nice, result in 30 seconds. I found the result is about 0.5-1 DKH lower than salifert thou.

I'm not going take that reactor. A lil bird told me it not all that good. So I'll pass on the reactor.

Zef, it was Di resin. I should have gotten some GFO then but got the pellets instead.

Maybe we need to turn into a group buy on it?

If your runing pellets you shouldn't need Alote gfo. Just to get your po4 down and then the pellets should take over. That's how my ecobak works.

Zef, yea, but I need some to get the PO4 out of the tank. I only had a half lb and it shoudl be about spent. I tested PO4 and it was Zero..

the pellets have been online for almost 3 weeks now. my skimmer has really turned out some extremely dark funk. I may have to get a sealed container cause it is RANCID! smells like a ruptured septic tank if you bump the bucket.

Im not the bird you are reffering to but I ahve a dual carbon/gfo one I am using for pellets. it works is all I can say. not ideal, but it functions.

Seems they only carry the Phosphate and i have Phosphorus Meter PPB But if they do have the correct ones I'll take 2 boxes.

That is because salifert is wrong. Many many reports of this, esp on the ULNS sites where low alk is key -

I love the checker especially with the new liquid reagent. I hope they re-work the PO4 reagent as well.

Just measured - it is 10" x 5" - so I think that is the 2.5L one. How much pooh you mak'n a week?

The sailfert,API, dropper in a vial tests are generally not as accurate imo. The level of variance from the hannah checkmate is less. Last year Zef and I did a test..my Checkmate PO4 versus his more expensive and they came out the same. AN API kit was off by 2 pts.
