Shipping is not where you save if you do a group buy, you get better prices….and 2,000 BRS point. my shipping was only going to be 13.68 or sum-thing not that much but if we setup a group buy the saving could be much more for example if five of us buy: Half Gallon - 2 Pounds Bulk GFO Pellets Ferric Oxide we all save 20% on each of them that is 7 bucks on each of us there, and say there are 5 or 6 peeps using the same carbon, GFO, ALK, and calcium we could all save a lot…by buying things at the same time…

I wasn't trying to take advantage of anyone. I did not organize the buy -- I joined one from the BRS RC forum. I could care less about these precious "points".
I was trying to offer free shipping and lower prices through a group buy to help out local reefers.
Look, I only know Reign, not the rest of you, so I wasn't going to front the cash for people I don't know.

okay im confused, i have no problem with dropping off the cash with someone who is ordering for all of us. with that link we dont have to 'float' anyone i presume right if we have ten people who log in under that link and wait for the email? second someone just let me know when and where to drop off cash and pick up item either way its cool with me.

Rain Just telling you how a group buy is done using BRS. So all cash will need to be dropped off at rain’s house, you will need to pm him for exact time and location… My order is already done and on the way. Any way has anyone read the group buys tread at the top of the forum? Don’t know if RC wants us doing group buys with shipping to multiple locations I think its ok because BRS is a RC sponsor and none of us are making any monetary gain from the group buy…
I will not need to order for sum-time….now….but in the future it would be nice to order as a group. If we did sum-thing like this it would defiantly show how far we have come as a club/group…… thank you Rain/Paul for getting the ball rolling on the BRS group buys we got to start sum-where…..
