BRS Reactor cleaning question

Time to change out carbon and am thinking of starting up GFO again this time
Very littleand work my way up.
Question is the sponges that are in the tubes any harm of throwing them in the wash with a tiny bit of bleach to clean them? They are really nasty!

I dont think it would cause any problems. I wash my filter socks in bleach with an extra rinse cycle. we chatting again tonight haha?

did they get that dirty shawna? Mine usually rinse out pretty well with the sprayer on the kitchen sink. They do get stained though.

Yeah think its from the gfo not sure but yeah I threw them in already Ill put them through a few rinse cycles afterwords
