Bryopsis contol

After Reading the thread on bryopsis I am a little confused on its control. I bought a mg test kit and b-ionc mg. Is this all I need or do I need to be supplementing anything else.

Actually the threads stated using Kents Tech M for some odd reason was the only Mag additive that was successful, Though we had great results just using Epsom Salt, Magnesium Chloride which was Randy Holmes Farleys method and raise Mag to 1600

Odd that only one mag. product was successful: could it be that they use a slightly different chemical makeup, and it's that specific formulation, and not mag. directly that does the deed?

I've been slowly growing an infestation myself, though siphoning, as well as tons of coraline to deny it surfaces, has helped. And now some of it seems to be whiting out and dying on its own, as well as these strange white "trees" on my live rock: anytime some bryopsis starts growing in their area and starts to overgrow them, I come back days later and the bryopsis is literally gone without a trace in that area. Bizarre.

im fighting this also, & noticed that using bionic MG has had no effect on the bryopsis. Mabe i should do a w/c and switch to tech M?

Does anyone know where the target ph should be to fight this stuff off?

I used tropic marin brand MG and it killed it all for me. 2 year battle up till raising the MG levels.

The brand that has had best results on the net is the Kent tech m though.
