BTA and Human Hands?

Just got my first BTA and am acclimating it. Have a question--

Almost time to move the BTA to the tank. Can I use my hands for that, or are rubber gloves strongly advised? I know carpets and hands don't mix, but not sure about BTA. My gloves are clunky!

Never mind, it is in the tank now. I used my hands thanks to Debi who answered this in a different post. I don't plan to touch it much in the future, but if there is a "correct" answer, I am still curious to know.

I've seen them handled with hands.

I used my hand to very lightly guide them to a rock. If they stick to you best to not pull away, let them detach themselves.

I guess better safe then sorry and use gloves though.

Thanks. It is "on the move", so I don't plan to handle it unless it settles somewhere totally unsatisfactory or seems somehow in danger of something. (The powerheads have guards on them and the heater is suspended in the middle of the tank, so short of crawling out of the tank or crawling into the overflow box, I am not sure what the BTA can do, but I have so little experience with them it will be a constant surprise I imagine.)

The only time I have ever touched mine is when first getting them in the tank. I don't like to drop them in and have them float around.

Once they get stuck on a rock I let them do their thing. That's part of the fun.
