bta and magnesium ...

is it possible that bta are directly affected by mag levels? my bta hasn't looked so good so for the passed few weeks but everything seemed fine. I decided to get new test kits so I bought red sea. I found that while everything else was spot on, my mag was low, 1100:-/. is it at all possible that this could be causing the nem to look ill? mouth slightly opened and not inflated to its potential size??
