BTA and PAR38 led bulb

Would a BTA do well under a PAR38 led bulb? I have a BTA but it is not getting enough light. I would like to give it more lighting and was thinking of using the PAR38. I don't need the light spread. I just want to point it at the BTA.

I would just be careful that the optics aren't too narrow. You don't want hot spots on the BTA.
