so for no apparent reason, the bta (in the 44g with 2 b&w, 150w 14k) just balled up. i've seen them do weird things for no "apparent" reason before, so we didnt think anything of it.
he moved around A LOT for about five days, never extending more than one or two tentacles.
he's been really bleached out for about 10 days now, looks like he is recovering (slowly...gah...).
we did two 5g water changes, ran carbon, skimmed really wet for a few days, changed the carbon...tested what we can test (from nitrates to mag) and never found anything abnormal.
we spot feed the sun coral about 5 days a week (m-f). its usually either cyclopeeze, seafood buffet or premixed stuff (marine snow, etc).
he was bumping into a...maybe tall ricordea? for a little while, but the ric seemed to take the worst of it.
(mariner, i think i got it from you...two of them? bluish?)
he seems to be getting better...foot has always been sticky, and we feed him larger chunks every two days or so.
any thoughts?
