I had a green one for a long time that had a little bit of a white pigment haze on the tips. Under certain lighting it would look a little bluish. I will see if I can find a picture.
This is not the blue one, but it was nice.
Figured I might as well throw in this one as well.
I have a severely bleached one that's like the purple rain colour morph it was $30 nz. It is 2 inches across fully expanded its in a trap so my clown doesn't kill it. The clown is a 3 inch false perc
There are many different NATURALLY colored Bubble Tip Anemones. I have 20 different colors of BTAs and although some will change color once they go into my tank, they then remain that color forever. As for previous comments... Yes, lighting makes a difference. A BTA in one tank may look quite different in another tank due to the different lighting scenarios. Take a look at the BTAs that LA Reefs lists on eBay. I really don't like buying any livestock off eBay but I have enjoyed an outstanding working relationship with this vendor over the past couple of years. I highly recommend him and he is one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to Bubble Tip Anemones. Every BTA I have ever bought from him looks exactly like the picture he displays. His prices are very reasonable for most of his BTAs. He does have a few high dollar BTAs as well. He has hundreds of BTAs but only list a few at a time, so if you are looking for something different do not hesitate to contact him and ask. Tell him that Hdhuntr01 said you should contact him about his BTAs.
