BTA dying?

I've had a BTA for a few months now, It's moved twice so far. Originally it was eating raw shrimp I would feed it. About a month ago it stopped eating what I would feed it and moved again last week. I picked up some silversides to see if it would eat that but no dice. It kind of wraps its tentacles around it briefly and drops it.

Its newest spot is off to the side of my tank where there really isn't any direct light (running LED's 50% whites, 70%blues). I've noticed brown strings coming out of it sometimes which I assumed was poop but it hasn't eaten in weeks. It's not hosted, could it be getting enough food from the water column ? It also just doesnt look healthy, it looks rather gross... Any ideas? Paramaters are fine, tank is around 9 months old.

From what I know it could be a million things.

Is the mouth open? Tentacles getting shorter? Losing colour?

If it moved something bothered it. Could be flow changed, temp, PH, calcium etc.... It's really hard to pinpoint the issues with these little guys.

Could it be splitting? It looks a little elongated. Maybe that's all it is. If you're really worried about it and don't think that's the optimal place you COULD as a LAST resort move it to where it can get some light and hopefully get its energy through photosynthetic process.

The brown stringy stuff form what I gather is from poop or dying but usually accompanied by gaping mouth and innards coming out

Hope the little bugger gets better!
